Integration
Telme + Fordonskontroll
Your whole fleet in Telme for haulage and logistics companies, with service orders straight to the workshop coming soon.
For a haulage or logistics company, the fleet is the business. When a truck is off the road because of a missed inspection or an unplanned workshop visit, trips are lost, drivers have to be re-planned and customers are kept waiting. Yet vehicle information often lives in a different system from transport planning, and that is where the friction is.
Fordonskontroll is a web-based fleet administration system used by companies, municipalities and public authorities with anything from ten to several thousand vehicles. It brings together trucks, trailers and other road-registered vehicles as well as assets such as forklifts, with inspections, servicing, fault reports and costs. Vehicle data is fetched automatically from the Swedish Transport Agency’s vehicle register, and through its Workshop Portal (Verkstadsportalen) vehicle owners and workshops communicate directly.
With the Telme and Fordonskontroll integration, Telme imports vehicle data from Fordonskontroll and shows it in a dedicated overview. Traffic control sees the whole fleet from inside Telme, alongside trips, drivers and planning. The next step is being able to send a service order straight to the workshop when a vehicle needs attention, without leaving Telme and without entering anything twice.

What you get
What the integration means day to day for haulage firms, distribution companies and anyone who depends on vehicles staying on the road.
- Your whole fleet in Telme
- Vehicles and vehicle details are imported from Fordonskontroll into an overview in Telme. Traffic planners see which trucks and other vehicles are available, their status and what is coming up, without switching systems.
- Inspections and servicing in planning
- Upcoming inspections, servicing and other checks show up where you plan trips and drivers, so you can put the workshop visit where it disrupts least instead of discovering it that morning.
- More vehicles on the road
- When inspections and servicing are planned in time, there is less risk of unplanned stops and vehicles banned from driving. More trucks keep rolling and fewer trips have to be moved at the last minute.
- Coming: service orders to the workshop
- The next step in the integration is creating a service order in Telme and sending it to the workshop via Fordonskontroll and the Workshop Portal. The aim is for the workshop to get the right vehicle and the right information from the start.
- One source of truth
- Fordonskontroll remains the register for fleet administration, with data from the national vehicle register. Telme uses the same details in traffic control, so everyone works from the same information and nobody keeps side lists.
- The right vehicle for the trip
- With vehicles in Telme it is easier to connect vehicle, driver and assignment, and to see which trips are affected when a vehicle has to be taken off the road.
